Current Events

Hello! It's me again. :) I have a few minutes this morning to post some pictures of what we've been up to lately. Enjoy!

I went to time out for women in Minneapolis with a wonderful group of women, it was so much fun! We left friday and returned Saturday evening. It was like EFY for grown ups! I returned home feeling inspired to be better and much rejuvenated. I'd say the most important thing I took home was to make my time count with my children.

Happy Halloween! The girls were witches this year. I shopped the after halloween clearance last year and they even had little cauldron buckets for their candy. Sigh, so cute!

Claire is going to preschool this year, and I'm doing a co-op with some moms for Cady. I made their little welcome board and felt so proud of how it turned out that I just had to show everyone. :) Yes, I spent way too much time on it! When the girls arrive, we have them find their name, take it down, and trace it with a washable marker (they've all been laminated). They love looking at their pictures too.

Claire has started her ice skating class. I LOVE watching her do this. Her class is for 4-5 year olds and they are so darling. Yes, there is a lot of falling, but Claire is a champ and just keeps getting up. I always knew her determined personality would serve her well. :) It's nice to start seeing the benefits of this instead of hopefully telling myself, "Some day it'll be great that she's so headstrong!"

Cady is now taking gymnastics, her class of choice. She is so cute in her little leotard. Unfortunatly, the parents have to stay in a little observation room, so I was unable to get any better pictures of her. She loves to dance and tumbling is right up her alley too!

I've learned to crochet recently and it has been so much fun! I haven't had the time to branch out much yet, so far I've been making beanie caps with flowers. It is addictive and so much fun!!

I decided to participate in the Mayo craft fair this past weekend and sell my hats. I was nervous before hand, I had no idea what to expect. Everything came together perfectly though, it was really a blast! Bryce helped me the night before by assembling my little display bow holders. He drilled holes for dowel rods in some scrap wood we had and I painted them black. Bryce attached chicken wire to an extra picture frame for me. I glued fabric to the back of the frame, and voila. It was so easy! (Thanks for all of your help and ideas Sara!). The only drawback to my display was that people didn't realize that the flowers in the vase were actually hair clips!

The craft fair was buzzing the entire time, I actually sold 15 of my 20 hats (I had only infant sizes left at the end) and took orders for 32 more! I will definitely participate in this again next year. I don't think you can tell from my big smile in the picture how much fun I was really having. ;)

So, that's the past month in a nut shell. Wheew. I hope you all are doing well also, and thanks for checking out our blog!

I think their halloween costumes are so cute.

Your display looks great. My mom told us how great it went for you. I want you to teach me at Christmas because I really want to make some for my boys. You know, the kind with a bill on the front? But only if you want to. If you dont want to give away your secrets I totally understand.

Glad time our for women was a success for you. I've never been to one but I hear they are great. Your scarf looks cute in that picture.

Nice update Jean! TOFW was one great weekend. It was so much fun to be in the cities with you.
Claire and Cady make very cute witches. I love it when a costume is easy and inexpensive. :)
Congrats on your success at the craft fair! Your crocheted hats are so adorable. I love the big crocheted flowers. I smiled when I saw you crocheting at playgroup this morning....32 orders, you've got to crochet around the clock!
I'm impressed with the "welcome board" you made for Cady's class. You are gifted in so many ways!
Thanks for your new post. You're inspiring me to post something new on my blog.

Your hats are darling! You say that you have infant sizes eh? Do you still have any more, I would love to buy one for little Ms. Penelope's arrival! What do you have?

You are so talented. You married into the right family for that. You three girls could start your own little craft store together.

The ice skating and gymnastics pictures brought back so many memories. I loved watching Bryce ice skate. It was so cute. And by the end of the winter he was skating circles around me and he was only five. I'm sure Claire will love it.

Do you have ice ponds throughout the city there? We had them in La Crosse, and they were great family days. Of course you had to have your own skates, but it's not hard to find a deal on those out there.

Can't wait for more pictures and updates.

I am just beaming with joy for you!! I am SO stinkin' proud of you for how the craft fair went for you. My mom was so excited telling us about your success!! I LOVE every single thing that you did. I wish I had known about it all because I totally would buy some. I have been looking for some fun stuff to add into our family picture and your stuff would be PERFECT!! Too bad I couldn't get it in time for our pictures on Friday. I want to learn how to do them too. Let's plan a date while you're here for us all to teach each other our cool stuff. Photoshop, jewelry, hats, bows, flowers. Man we could have a blast :) I actually love crochetting (sp?), I just haven't done it in a while. Your whole display is awesome. I like all that you guys did!!! Impressive :)

Their costumes are so cute! And I like the preschool display you made. How fun!! Thanks for the update. I've been waiting for another one. I check it here and there hoping I'll see something new. I miss you guys! And we're excited for Christmas!

Jean, great pictures! Thank you so much for posting them. Your house for Cady's preschool was darling and how special it makes them feel totally makes the extra time worth it I think. Those beenies are so cute...I would love the patterns you use if you are willing to share. I am so proud of you for taking the risk to do a booth, that is truly an inspiration to me. Your display was perfect and so sheik.

Okay, I am done gushing in public, but know that I am going on and on and on in my head still.

Hi there!
I would like to burn a theme at this forum. There is such a nicey, called HYIP, or High Yield Investment Program. It reminds of financial piramyde, but in rare cases one may happen to meet a company that really pays up to 2% daily not on invested money, but from real profits.

For quite a long time, I make money with the help of these programs.
I don't have problems with money now, but there are heights that must be conquered . I make 2G daily, and I started with funny 500 bucks.
Right now, I'm very close at catching at last a guaranteed variant to make a sharp rise . Visit my blog to get additional info.

Good day, sun shines!
There have been times of troubles when I felt unhappy missing knowledge about opportunities of getting high yields on investments. I was a dump and downright stupid person.
I have never thought that there weren't any need in big initial investment.
Now, I'm happy and lucky , I begin take up real income.
It's all about how to choose a correct companion who uses your money in a right way - that is incorporate it in real deals, parts and divides the profit with me.

You can get interested, if there are such firms? I'm obliged to tell the truth, YES, there are. Please get to know about one of them:

It is obviously time to repost since I am resorting to having to look through all of the old pictures to remind myself of how adorable your girls are (not subtle at all hint :-). They really are super adorable.
