Memories

I saw this on Johanna's blog and thought it would be fun. It's about memories. You can do it for Bryce and/or me.

As a comment on this blog, leave one memory that you and I had together, or one of the first memories you have of me. It doesn't matter if you knew me a lot or a little, anything you remember.

Hope I don't regret doing this! :) I look forward to hearing your memories.

DUDE! Good to see you on my blog...been awhile! The first memory I have of you is when we came to look at apartments and I said to Robert, "They are totally LDS." You had that short short hair cut and I couldn't believe you just had a baby...(if only I looked that good)You were so sweet and soft spoken...one trait I wish to have...You guys were so awesome to talk with and it turned into a great friendship!! Those baby monitor and game nights were awesome!! We miss you guys too!! ((HUGS))

Hey Jean! My first memory, oh wow I have so many of you! My best would be when we went to Homecoming at Leesville with the group that consisted of Joel and I, Jean and Mark and Joel's brother Karl and his girlfriend. It was a blast!

Hello Jean and Bryce, it's Charla! For some reason I was thinking of you guys today and thought I would google you to see if you had a Blog --- it worked! Your girls are adorable, I love their blonde, blonde hair. My husband and I have blonde hair and our little girl has red hair - go figure!
One memory I have of you guys is trying to get you to go on your first date - you both needed reassurance that the other one liked you! And I guess the rest is history.
I hope everything is going well - it looks like it. Congratulations Bryce on graduation! I am so glad I found you guys again and I can see your little girls. I have a Blog if you want to stop in and see all the pictures I put up. The Blog is www.charlajadeandersen.blogspot.com

I have lots of memories about you but the first time you came to visit us and we started eating pizza without you will always be a favorite. I also have fond memories of our trip from Portland to Minnesota. We had lots of good talks and crazy non stop driving.

I think it was yours and Bryce's first date? Homecoming? He left us a message that said you were all coming back to our house after the dance. We did not get the message until 9:30 that night and by then we had a deer hanging in the tree out back. Bryce was little grossed out and you were very cute about all of it. You were asking all kinds of questions and really cute about the whole crazy situation. I remember you singing away in our kitchen, Chad and I instantly thought you were made for Bryce.

I remember Bryce going face to face with a guy while we were playing basketball at the park. It was great! I think that helped me realize how competitive Bryce is. I had fun giving Bryce a hard time about that. Tell Bryce I said hi, and we hope you all are doing good.--Justin

I remember walking around the corner to play basketball with Bryce and his dad for hours in the street. I also remember I loved watching Bryce run an 800m on the track, he could really fly.

We were just starting to get to know you...it was before you were married. I asked you to sing in our ward's production of Women at the Well, and I was so grateful you did. I thought your number with Lark was the most beautiful one of the evening, but most especially the spirit was so strong and genuine...it was what I had been praying would happen, and you did it.

Thank you so much for sharing your incredible talent.

My first memory of you, like Johanna, is of course when Spencer and I came to look at apartments. Spencer even remembered you guys from BYU, but my memory's not that good. When we left we just knew that that was the place to be for us. You even got us into our favorite apartment, although there had been an applicant there before us. All new floors and appliances for us...hooray. We loved our time there with you, and Spencer still thinks that we should have made more time to spend with you.
Of course there was the downside of letting those Hallenbergers move in below us... jk ;)

I remember when you came over to help me pack up my things when I moved out. Tonight I got done unpacking the last of the boxes, and it was the box of candles we packed together that afternoon almost 2.5 years ago...LOL...how time flies...Now everything is put away, and what an adjustment it is from renting to mortgage payments....

Let's see . . . so many fun ones! Playing "ninja princesses" on the trampoline, tricking you into playing with my hair every night and then conveniently "falling asleep" before I could reciprocate, telling "choose your own adventure" stories to each other at night and then killing each other's characters off when we were too tired to keep talking, you and Daniel sneaking downstairs to get apples in the middle of the night. Best of all, is when you accidentally pulled the school's fire alarm, interrupting class for hundreds of students while fire trucks came, and then the principle thought you did it on purpose! Hilarious! Bryce--earliest memories of you consist of you being absolutely mortified at some of Tim's comments in his apartment, plugging your ears and humming to block it out! Pretty funny!

My first memories of Bryce are from our dissection group in gross anatomy in dental school. I got a close up look at those great surgeon hand skills, and we had some fun conversations! That dissection group developed into quite a group of friends for the rest of dental school and multiple other great memories. I hope everything is going great for you guys in residency!
